Microencapsulation is indispensable for Phytoactives to maintain their quality and functionality. By protecting these substances from temperature and chemical-biological actions, the product, in addition to having its functionality preserved, also guarantees a longer storage time and allows the processing of feed. By being microencapsulated, the aromatic compounds contained in the Phytoactives have their odors/flavors attenuated, improving the acceptability of animal species with sharper palates.

The wrapping of the microencapsulation Matrix creates a protective layer over the Phytoactives that allows them to reach the intestinal tract without suffering the action of gastric juices, generating a stomach Bypass effect. Upon reaching the intestinal tract, microencapsulation allows a slow release effect, ensuring a controlled and effective release in the target organ, even reaching the large intestine and cecum. In this way, the protected actives can act in the programmed dosage allowing the success of their application.

This technology also acts on the quality of the final feed, as the result of the encapsulation are globose microparticles that allow a better mixing process in the feed beat, guaranteed in addition to greater product stability and storage time, a uniform distribution for the dosage required for each species and/ or challenge presented by kilogram of feed offered to the animal.
